Applications

Applications are open from 11 November 2010 to 17 January 2011. To process your application, you must complete the online form in the application page, following the guidelines provided.

Applicants can be young scientists beginning their careers in the field of astrocytes or senior scientists wishing to refresh their glial background.

Registration is limited to 30 participants. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their scientific background and relevance of the course in their current research.

The registration fee is 650 EUR. This amount covers the tuition fee and full board and lodging at the school venue. Two or three fellowships will be available. If sufficient sponsorship funds are obtained, the registration fee may be lowered and the number of fellowships increased. If available, additional information on this topic will be announced through this page.

Cultural activities

To complement the intensive scientific programme, two half days have been assigned to cultural activities. More details about these guided tours will be communicated directly to accepted students.
